Village Playground and The Meadow

Contact us about this venue

The Village Playground

The Village Playground is located in the middle of the High Street behind the car park. Dogs are not permitted in the playground. The car park is owned by East Herts Council and parking is free thanks to French and Jupps who subsidise it for the benefit of residents and visitors. The playground has a variety of play equipment and we have recently installed some new toddler equipment.

The Meadow

The Meadow is an open green space behind the village playground that is owned and managed by the parish council.  There is a table tennis table for residents to use (you need to bring your own bats and balls) and there is an outdoor gym area which was built in March 2021in the area next to the table tennis table. The council also has a Lock Up in the Meadow which the local handyman looks after. The Meadow was used for an outdoor cinema event in 2014 and the parish council hopes to run more outdoor events in the future on this space.
